WJ halo wiring question

Hey guys,

I was wondering if it is a bad idea to splice the halos and the LED's from the gen three headlights into the parking lights along with the halos from the fog lights. Will this put too much of a strain on the power to the parking lights or should I be in good shape? Thanks in advance guys...

That's exactly what I plan on doing as soon as my halo fogs arrive...post up your results? I'm willing to bet you'll be fine. Those LED's aren't much of a draw at all compared to the OEM bulb it's designed to power. I bet when it's all said and done you're still drawing less current than you would be with an OEM bulb.

It won't hurt anything. I have my led's from the Gen 3 lights there myself.

Although you may get a brighter light using a relay too.

So I have a 00' WJ Laredo and I've been wanting to get halo headlights but the ones I've been looking at on ebay say that they aren't compatible with Laredos. Is there any difference?

The only thing you would need to change is the bulbs. The loredos have amber lenses on the bottom, and the limited and overland uses clear lenses and amber bulbs.
