Air filter, PCV Valve, Inspect/Replace Serpentine Belt, Wipe out throttle body, Change oil, Change both front and rear differential fluid with 75W-140 synthetic (add Mopar friction modifier if you have Quadra-DRIVE II), Change transfer case fluid.

I am coming up on 60K miles... when I get there, gotta do the following:

- Oil/filter
- F&R diffs
- TC
- Transmission
- Spark plugs
- Inspect ignition cables (replace if necessary)
- PCV valve
- Check belts (replace if necessary)

Does anyone have a picture of where the pcv valve is located and how to service it on an 06 with the 4.7L?

The PCV valve is located on the oil fill tube (the tube that you fill oil through when you are done changing the oil). It has one hose attached to it that you need to remove (might be a little tight but twisting it back and forth while yanking should get it off). Then turn the valve 90 degrees clockwise (you will be facing the driver's side fender while standing at the passenger side fender so clockwise should be turning towards the front of the vehicle) and pull out. Then follow directions in reverse to put new one in (I got a new one at NAPA for all of $6 vs. the dealer's price of almost $20 and they look identical, so I'd be willing to bet that it's the same manufacturer). I'll take a pic later on and post it up so you can see exactly where the valve is.

Well I was able to check and replace the one on my moms 03 WJ 4.7 HO engine. This motor does infact have the valve located where you said it was. However, on my 06 4.7L there is no valve here on the oil fill tube.

The 06 4.7 pcv is on the driver's side, towards the firewall.

I only have 36,600 miles on the Jeep so i don't think i need to replace it yet. But i was just wondering where it was for future reference. Is it also easily accessible or is it hidden away? Ill try to take a look tomorrow.
