Is This Alignment Related?

Looking at buying a 2008 GC Limited 4x4 with the 4.7 V8 & 37,000 miles. When going down the freeway it drives straight. By the way it has brand new tires and brakes as of today. When I let off the accelerator it moves to the right. When I give it gas it moves to the left. What's up? When exiting the freeway and going slower (obviously) and then start braking I can feel it pull to the right as well however since it does it without braking on the freeway I don't think it is brake related. Very hard to tell if it does it at lower speeds.

reaching here a little but consider the crown in the highway it wants to roll you to the right normally. If you can try the same in a large flat parking lot. like afterhours at a shopping mall where you can get to a decent speed and not run anyone over.

I would also not rule out steering ??? maybe something is worn and during decelaration weather braking or not you are removing the applied force to the steering system and it is slacking out.??

I am inclined to think if there are new tires installed you probably were not meant to see the damage due to alignment.

Very hard to tell without tire wear to clue you. Is it a dealer maybe you can get them to put it on the alignment rack as a condition of purchase?

Certified pre-owned, 76 point evaluation for safety ect. ect. ect.....

good luck

Yeah, it is "certified" however I've discovered this issue along with a coolant issue I thought the dealer would have done something about during inspection. They are going to do an alignment check. Guessing the tires were bad since they put new ones on.
