Black Carpet

The frost/black interior color option is availabile only on Limteds and up, not Laredos, and i have a Limited on order. I like the frost/tan seats and I accept the black carpet that comes with it, but don't really get why the combo/contrast on the carpet is necessary or desireable. In looking at inventory pictures online at various dealers, i have now seen a couple of Limiteds with the frost/tan seats that have the same color carpet. I didnt think that was possible? anyone know how you get the tan interior with same color carpet rather than black?

Not on the Limited, the light frost anly comes with the black carpet.
I just picked up an Overland and it has the light frost with a dark frost (dark brown) carpet.
That is one of the things that keep me debating between the Limited and Overland.

The dark carpet helps to hide the dirt.

All levels come with black/black.
The Larado also come in graystone/black
The Limited also comes in frost/black
The Overland also comes in frost/brown and saddle/black.

I too don't understand why they use black carpets with the beige or saddle seats. Dark brown carpets and dash seems more logical IMHO.

from experience, black shows everything and is hard to keep clean. just as on exterior color. But, that's the way they come. Except for some random builds that somehow came out with tan carpets to match the tan seats and that i didnt think were possible, but do exist.
