275 55/20

I've read that a few members are running 275 55/20s. Anybody have any pictures of their WK2 with these size tires. I have 275 45/20 but want to fill the wheel well a bit more. I was also considering 285 50/20 but read somewhere on here that these tires would probably rub. I've searched but didn't find pics of these size tires.

To those who have upsized to the 275/55/20 tires: Have you also replaced your spare? Does this size still fit the spare compartment, and does the compartment lid still close fully with the increased section width of this tire?

I'm still curious too, I want to try and clear 285/50-20s but dont know if I can. It sounds like people are doing 275/55-20s with no issues? What about at 35mm offset instead of the 51mm stock offset?

Here is a link with a photo of 285/50/20's. From what I've read the largest tire you can run is 32" the 285/50/20's are 31.2.

There is a guy on the other forum (Rubrman) that is running 305/40/22 (31.6)

275x45 20 no rubbing nor does it stick out of the fender. Customer service at Quadratec (1-800-745-2348) can also answer your specific questions too.

I just put on 275/55/20 nitto terra grapplers; much better than the forterra. And they fit just perfect on the overland with quadra lift at all levels. in the lowerst ride level, there is still a little play (not much!), but no rubbing. this is highest level.

Looks good! Any chance of more picutres...front and rear views? I assume those are the stock 8" wide wheels.

So by "lowest level" do you mean the Park level?

Yeah, by lowest, I mean the Park/exit level, and highest being off-road 2.
Yes, the stock 20X8 wheels.
