Hi all.. Just checking in and had a question.

This past friday my drivers side headlight went out. I have a set of HID's purchased here. i went through a process of elimination. I changed the bulb, ballast, and even tried a regular stock bulb.. Nothing worked.. Im leaning towards bad wiring, but i dont see how that possible.. I've never had any issues with any of y lights let alone a harness.

Any suggestions?

Re: Headlights
Well Scott you were right. It was a fuse. Every time i throw one in, it blows. Any suggestions on narrowing down where the short might be?

Re: Headlights
Start by removing the hid system completely on the side at fault and replace a halogen lamp, see if it happens again. (by the way, get alotta fuses lol) Then start removing one bulb at a time from the headlamp assembly, you may find a faulty socket, at that point you need to inspect the socket.

Before you do this though, if you just did the hid kit it may be possible that you pinched wires from the harness reinstalling the light, inspect the headlamp harness for kinks or rips or something.
