Liftgate Latch Actuator (power lock motor)
Hoping someone has some knowledge about fixing the lock mechanism for the tailgate glass. Mine stopped working recently along with the rear wiper.

Other issues:
Heated seats inoperable
poor radio reception (no grounding problem)
radio does not communicate with 10 disc changer
interior lights inoperable
steering wheel radio controls inoperable

Blend door repair completed, along with resistor repair.

Re: Liftgate Latch Actuator (power lock motor)
Hey bud,

I don't know how to fix any of those.

But in respect to the heated seats I would try taking them to the dealer possibly for the TSB replacement.

I dropped my jeep off to have some work done and they replaced the heated seats with out even asking me (which were working to begin with though).

Read more here about the TSB -
Good luck with your WJ.

Re: Liftgate Latch Actuator (power lock motor)
Because the wiper motor stopped working together with tailgate glass lock and all other failures as well, i would think about a problem with the Body Control Module. Did you already check all fuses if none is blown or makes a bad contact. Just saw that fuse F8 is both for the rear wiper motor control and for the liftgate flipup release solenoid.
Didn't all problems start at the same time, maybe even directly after the blend door repair? For that repair probably the whole dash was removed and who knows what happened..........
