Interesting! this park is bigger than the Badlands in Attica, IN. Might have to check it out.

Hey guys, I'm actually planning on driving out to Indiana to visit my sister in May. My brother in law has a wrangler and we plan on heading out to the badlands. Have either of you been there? Is it worth going to or ahould we make the trek to jeepskool? Would like to go out and have a good day of wheeling maybe even meet up with some of the JG members.

I have been to the Badlands numerous times and i find it to be much fun! Especially when you are with a small group. It offers 700+ acres of land with all types of terrain from mild to wild. You should have fun.

Thanks a lot for the reply. Is there a list of things you think I need to handle the average trail at the badlands? I am driving a 1000 mi and would like to know break anything while I'm out there. Haha

I'm terrible with replies! lol sorry.
You should be fine if you use common sense, stick to simple trails and have a good spotter. I have done my fair share of damage there from body (orange trail) to suspension damage (Testing out a hybrid lift)

also make sure you have proper recovery points, a strap and skids as a precaution. ive wheeled with nothing but stock skids most of the time and have done fine- in my other jeeps. have yet to wheel this wk. take your time and enjoy:thumbsup:

Thanks a lot. I got my tow hooks on Saturday and I have a recovery strap already. Unfortunately I only have stock skids so I am hoping they hold up. CB radio this weekend. After talking to them at te badlands, it sounds like a very well organized park so you can really select what types of obstacles you want to concur! It should be a fun day.

You should bring your jeep out for it's first off roading trip. Lol

The Badlands is very well organized and you will always have someone offer you a hand. They have camping grounds and a mechanic shop just in case.
