Moab + Monument Valley Shots!!

Just got back from a 900 mile drive back to Phoenix from Denver for the holidays and figured I would share some images of the GC! I brought the girlfriend along to keep me company but drove the entire 13 hours because the jeep was so comfortable. While crossing the UT/CO boarder we hit snow and ice a few times but never had any issues, in fact they were hardly noticeable!

Performance: In regards to the jeep’s performance all I can say is the new rig is a road warrior! When compared to my previous GC (04 silver limited V8 with beefy tires) there was no comparison. While my last truck was a beast that never let me down, I wasn’t shy to make the upgrade! Since purchasing the new rig it has easily conquered any task I’ve throw at it (ski trips, getting muddy, donuts in snowy parking lots, etc…)

Complaints: I can honestly say I have none at this point (2,500 miles). Being that a vehicle like the GC is made up of roughly 20,000 to 25,000 parts, there are bound to be a few small flaws. While we all paid a serious amount of green for these and expect the best from the brand we should remain realistic. When dealing with this much equipment there’s a possibility for the presence of a few small imperfections. That being said, I like most others on the site haven’t had any!!! I only offer this argument as I have found the same small imperfections on other brands we own (BMW 535x and Audi A4). I chose not to include my frustration with the 430 nav system and iPhone 4 connectivity because I’m giving the two (mygig & apple) a chance to fix this issue in the next couple weeks..
