Things Gone Wrong Poll

What problems - if any - have you experienced with your 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee? (please check as many as apply)

Is there a way to change your vote as things start to break?.... All good after 5 days....

My driver's side visor broke loose on mine. It was repaired with a $2.85 washer and 1.1 hr labor under warranty.

So far, my issues have been limited to:

1) Rubber bumper on passenger door not installed (just a matter of the dealer putting one on)
2) Front foglight out (getting it fixed tomorrow)
3) Left hand audio control switch on steering wheel malfunctions (ditto)
4) Control panel not properly affixed to passenger seat (on order)

Nothing but very minor trim type issues- while together they are annoying, I've had zero issues that impair driveability or require immediate attention.

1) Rubber bumper on rear drivers door not installed
2) Left hand audio control switch on steering wheel malfunctions
3) Steering out of alignment (there is a TSB for this)
4) Improper Wiper Blades installed
5) Interior Ambient Lighting not functioning (drivers door)
6) Trim around steering column near dash loose
7) Center console door didn't open or close properly
8) Right rear brake light was loose
9) Base trim on passenger seat loose
10) Missing the push button start button when I took delivery

oh, and, iPhone4 issues, perhaps more Apple's than Chrysler's fault.

Again, most of this has already been addressed. It's just a pain giving my brand new GC back to the dealer and getting a turd of a corolla as a rental, especially over the winte. At least it is free.

Other - gas mileage for V6 4x4 QT I. With 100% city driving I get 10 MPG and I drive like an old lady. New fuel economy numbers were supposed to be close to real life. Well 10 is nowhere near 16

^JS, that sounds pretty odd despite break in period. What is your dealer saying?

Denver is no Brooklyn, but I live and work in the city, and the Hemi gets 14.5 MPG in 100% urban driving, surface streets with stoplights and stop signs, and frequent pedestrian stops. This also includes some drag strip action with soccer moms.

That stinks, I get better than that in my 4x4, V8. I'm averaging 15.3mph and I remote start for a few minutes each morning and I average about 20mph during my commute... 13-miles in 45-minutes. Same thing on my way home. Stop and go traffic, no highway.

I'd get that checked out.

I haven't talked to the dealer about it yet. What can dealer do about this except give me "they are all like this" BS? When I talked to Jeep during customer survey callback they suggested to wait until I have more miles on the car (don't recall exact number)

And 10 MPG is pretty much the same between EVIC and calculated value.
