Whirring HVAC Fan
It's only happened three times. It has been when the temp is below 10 f.
and the vehicle has been outside for an extended period of time.

The fan clicks or whirs like the fan blades hit the housing. It's like the tolerance of the housing and fan are too tight and during cold temps the contraction causes contact. Short lived... maybe a few minutes at most. Very hard to duplicate for a dealer.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Interesting. It happened one time to me for about 1 minute a thousand miles (a few weeks ago) but I don't recall the temperature at the time. I chalked it up to a part label of some sort that worked loose. Never happened again so I shrugged it off to what I suspected. Mine sounded more like a piece of paper hitting the fan blades.

My Laredo the fan makes a jet sound when I turn it up high 5-6th setting.

Re: Whirring HVAC Fan
mine does the same(whirs no clicks) this is when in auto and car is cold and fan is at max. I just cycle through all manual modes and back to auto and it goes away ... it is not frequent
