SRT OEM headers on 5.7
I know this has been talked about in the past, but I couldn't find the threads talking about it.

Will they fit? How difficult is it? I know the shapes are different but remember reading that they still worked.

Let me know what you think, or point me in the right direction to the threads that talk about it already haha.

Re: SRT OEM headers on 5.7
yes they fit

No its not that easy of an install

The exhaust ports wont match up if you have an 08 or older, You can still put them on the 05-08's though but youll need the srt exhaust manifold gaskets.

I know the lx shorty headers don't fit , but what about the lx srt mani's? Has anyone ever tried that? They're not the same, are they?

Re: SRT OEM headers on 5.7
i read about that guy that used the durango heads but he had to beat the flor pan in about 3 inch on one side dont remember. im currently about to swap in a set of srt heads and from all my research it should fit 555ctsv has it on his jeep. He has a thread about it also if u look here under performance stuff. But u do have to turn off your egr valve with a tuner and get a egr blockoff plate from what im tracking. And also u can do what im doing and get a set of srt8 midpies then custom your exhaust form there back. Im gunna have it come out where the stock exhaust is so its not coming out the center.

SRT headers work... you have to do some grinding on the tranny bellhousing to get it to fit if i remember.
