Yet Another HID Problem

So today I got pulled over for having one of my headlights out. They are HID headlights and they have been working since Septemberish. I have the relay and everything. I think one of the ballists went bad but I have no idea. When I got home I checked the ballist and it wasn't hot. I think that's what the problem is but I want to be sure before I drop the money on a new one. This is kind of urgent because I have illegal window tint and now I can't drive the car at night because I will get a ticket for the window tint. The cop today gave me a warning for it because I made him laugh

Plug a bulb into that ballast and see if it works.

then try this

leave the bulbs in their normal spots, but switch the ballast to the other side, that side should then go out.

If that doesnt work, make sure you check your relay and make sure its not corroded.

If youre not sure if its the ballast just test it on the one that works! ;)

check all the fuses and the relay switch first. Then go to the bulbs and ballasts. It could be as simple as a blown fuse on the relay harness or a blown relay switch. These guys are newbs....dont listen to them.....LOLOLOLOL
