Tiny little tear on my saddle

On my drivers seat when I got out tonight I noticed a tiny little imperfection/tear on one of the air holes on the seat. It made me want to cry. I guess maybe from my jeans and sliding out or something did it. Is there any way to fix it? Its very small but Im scared it will be a bigger problem one day. Really sucks...

If it's pulling at the seams then take it to the dealer, it's a defect. If you tore it with something in your pocket then find a custom upholstery shop and have them take a look. Catch it now or it will get worse.

Don't worry too much, but if I were you, I'd buy a new cover while it's still in production. It's probobly going to cost around $200.

If/when the original gets worse, just have it replaced.

Once that cover goes out of production, the price could easily triple or more.

On my 02 WJ, a replacement seat cushion (just the foam), was $32 from Mopar. Once it went out of production a few years later, Chrysler raised the price to $325!

Damn. Do you guys think its under warranty? Truck is 2 weeks old and I've done nothing wrong. Sigh this sucks. Makes me wonder if the saddle interior will be hard to keep up with. My Lexus of 3 years had no issues.

If it's torn from simply getting in and out and you didn't impale it with something in your pocket they ABSOLUTELY it's a warranty item. Take a picture and post it so others can look for similar defects in all colors.

try a warranty no matter; but if it fails buy the leather cover as above suggested. a custom shop will fix you up 123

It'll be covered. The Ram's had horrible problems with their ventilated seats cracking after only a few thousand miles. They replaced all the owners under warranty. Chrysler fixed the problem with the seats so I would say yours is a fluke.

Bozer, just don't tell them you roll around naked on the Saddle leather, they may just then blame you for impaling it.

They won't suspect that. I'm sure the "tiny little tear" is too big....

So here's the pictures. Last night I didn't notice, it looks like a pen has done this damage. The garage where I park my car during work... one of the guys who parked it must of had a pen in his back pocket. I'm so pissed off about this. How can I get the pen mark off so it looks like a pen had nothing to do with this, then attempt to have warranty fix it. Its very minor but my Jeep is 2 weeks old and shouldn't have this mark. UGH
