A few technical questions...

1. - With the factory OES remote start is there a way to keep the car running and take the key out? With my last car, I had an aftermarket remote start and I could hold the 2 buttons down to start the car and the lights would blink and I could take the key out and the car would stay running. Is there any way to do this with my jeep remote start?

2 - My sister has an 08 crysler town & country. She has the MyGIG and VES and everything. There is a touch screen head unit and all but what would I need to get for GPS? I'm guessing mayne the antenna or something???

Thanks...

1. currently you can leave your truck running and take the keys out. start the truck, take the key out of hte key fob without shutting off the truck, lock all the doors manually, walk around and do what you have to, come back to the truck, unlock with your actual key! i do it all the time!

Oh I never thought to do that Irf... I tried pressing the remote start button but it doesn't work. I just turn the car off and once I'm outside and I shut the door I start it again...

Re: A few technical questions...

ok before you get in your truck start it via remote starter

then go into the car and turn the key over two notches that will turn on your truck with the key

now leave the keyfob in the ignition and just take the actual key out! press the little switch to the left and slide the actual key out.

now lock all the doors manually

when you come back to the truck, unlock the driver door and get in!

I got cha. I was hoping there was a way to take the whole key out but I guess not. I'll do it your way for now on. I'm surprised someone who drives a black truck would think of that. LOL
