Valentine One BlendMount with Invisicord Install

6 Attachment(s)
Finally got around to exploring the wiring of the mirrors for the Invisicord and once I got it, put on the BlendMount also.

The BlendMount is a much better mount than my previous I used with my Valentine One in my G37S. More solid, better design, much easier install!

Here are some pictures as they are pretty self explanatory and what everyone scrolls down to anyway.

The wiring to tap the mirror for power is:

Black = Ground
Pink/Green = Power

I remember the question of 8" or 12" Invisicord and 8" is what I used and probably a 6" would be perfect.

Which model blend mount? It looks like the BV1-2001. Did the white nylon bushing come with it too?

Yes, it is the BV1-2001 model and the bushing was included.

The Overland mirror and the way it mounts is not the same as you are showing in the pics. I don't think a blendmount will work on the Overlands. I hope somebody will manafacture one that will work. Your's looks like it fits just fine.

Yeah. Which mirror is that? Have the auto headlights and wipers?

Nice work OP. Looks great and the blendmount is a very high quality piece.

Unfortunately, I can confirm that the blendmount will NOT fit the Overland mirror as there is no stem from windshield to mirror on which to mount the part.

Well that just SUCKS!

I guess I'll have to fabricate something myself. ;)

don't they make a nice detector that mounts under the hood?

I believe Escort has a few models that are installed in locations other than the windshield.

Nice work, looks good! I too did this myself last spring and loved the look and functionality.

Now just add the concealed display for some extra gadgetry haha. Its unnecessary in my
opinion but does allow you not to have to look to far off the road pending where you mount it.

Where did you mount yours?
