What do you Think (tire/wheel)

So I'm going to be upgrading my suspension this coming up week. I have some bilstein struts and shocks on order, as well as the rough country 2" lift kit. I just need your opinion on wheels.

I'm looking at these two wheels. What one would fit better (backspacing/offset wise). I am going to be running a 265/70/17 tire.

or...

I'm going to try to run the Kumho M/T KL71 I use to run these on my TJs all the time. I know it's directional but it's a super quite MT that looks better cool. Did great in the winter and wasn't bad off road! Not to pricey either!! Other wise I was looking into the retread tires. I'm not sure if they are worth it though? Great price!? Any input on these? (treadwright)

What do you guys think!?

atx hands down. how big a spacer you planning?

i think with those you may need 1.5 inch?

Re: What do you Think (tire/wheel)

I was hoping I wouldn't have to run a spacer with these wheels. Maybe I am wrong?

im NO WXPERT so dont go by what I know. guys like acid live the lifted stuff.

only point is the offset. factory is about 35 so that one is -12 the means you need to compensate for 47mm or it going to hit the caliper??

again please dont take my word for anything; im just thinking out loud

I like the fuel wheel. Looks badass. But I also know nothing about this sort of stuff lol

Well how about this question... does any one know what wheel(s) work with 2" lift and 265/70/17 that do no require a spacer? Maybe the aev pintlers or such?

What is the difference between backspacing and offset? What is more important? I'm looking for a wheel that will work w/o spacers and also sticks out a litte bit to get the rig a little wider stance as well.

I'm sure eaither will work I'm running M/T they have a 4.5 back space and stick out nicely.

Re: What do you Think (tire/wheel)

OFFSET:measurment (+) or (-) from the center of the rim. + is moved outwards, - is inwards (towards vehicle)
BACKSPACE: measurement of distance from back (inside) of rim to mounting flange

I have 265/70/17's and they fit, using the stock rims, with only a 1/8" spacer and some grinding of the upper ball joint bolt. May change if you go with a wider rim.

AND< my vote is for the first ones, the Artillery.
AND I have no opinion on tires as i only have experience with my current set up.

Definitely the ATX wheels. I've heard of a few guys on the forums running TreadWrights and seem to be happy but I've heard good things about the Kumhos. Personally, I'd feel better running a non-retread on a daily driver.

Other way around. The higher the + figure in offset, the more inboard it is.
Stock non SRT wheels are +51 mm. So the ATX with -12 mm would move the tyres and wheel 63 mm outwards! The Fuel one is +1 so would move the wheel outwards 50 mm.
Look on this site for a back space to offset chart as well.

Unfortunately caliper clearance is not known by any of the above figures. It depends on how close the spokes are to the wheel mounting surface. That is why you can't even run WJ rims on a 07+ WK, even though the wheel specs are the same.

05wkguy...do u have any side pics with those 265's on your Jeep to show how they look in the wheelwells with just the 1/8" spacers...i'm not a fan of adding any spacers if I dont need to.
