Album Art for 430N

All this time now, has anyone figured it out?

I have a 1TB hard drive, formatted as Fat 32. All of my albums are like this

[ARTIST NAME] - [NAME OF ALBUM] - [All the songs]

I have no clue how to get album art, and forget about doing this by ripping CDs

No. I only have a 430 (no nav), but they're functionally the same I believe (other than nav).

No one has shared a solution to this so far, bozer. The group hope is that the upcoming update will address this and add other functionality.

However, you should be in perfect shape for uploading those tunes...unless your 1TB HD is actually at capacity, in which case you will overshoot the HDD's capacity by about 970 GB.:D:eek:

Yep. I have no problem uploading the tunes, works great.

Does anyone know the right size for pictures? In other words, the image that replaces the JEEP logo? I put a picture up and it works fine, just wondering if there is a preferred size.

Anyone have a picture of album art on their screen?

I've been trying with the 430n, but no luck. It reads all the other ID3 tags no problem, just not the one for the album art.

Yup, having the same dissappoint experience here. I popped a CD in, and the album art shows up. Ripped the same CD on my PC with all the metadata; loaded the MP3s into my 430N and no album art.

Is there any reason that anyone thinks the 430n (or 730n) can display album art??
They display photos from the HDD but I have not seen any documentation that claims it sholuld display album art.

There are numerous references to album art in the documentation and marketing copy for the 430n, and in fact this feature works as advertised when you import music from a CD via the optical drive in the head unit. We're just having trouble getting it to work on other methods of importing. But we've got our best minds working on it.

Do you know if the 730N can display artwork? I have not seen any reference to it in the manual. That would be cool.
