Walker QuietFlow SS

I must say I do like my Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler and it does produce a nice aggressive sound on acceleration. But that really is not the issue. I do a lot of highway driving as well as city and the cabin drone is getting pretty annoying. :(

Figure I can have them cut out the Dynomax and I can hang on to it for whatever since its not old.

I am looking for info from anyone if they have any experience or has a Walker QuietFlow SS on their ride. I want quiet again. Here is some info for folks. http://www.walkerexhaust.com/products/mufflers_QFSS.asp

And I found it on Amazon, yes, Amazon which I find a bit weird.

And i figure I would get a new tailpipe too, what the heck.

Thanks for the insight.

I had a dynomax on my 99 wj it does sound great but you are right about the drone in the cabin. I got a 5.7l WK now I too like to get a freeflow exhaust but I do not want the drone,So you get the walker quietflow muffler, let me know how it sounds.

Hopefully I will get some more input on this.

I'll let you know how it goes Chris. I still have not made my order from Amazon yet. I had been calling up some shops around the are for pricing on installation. Cheapest i was quoted is 75 from a smaller shop so i guess that's alright.

Whatever you get, make sure it is stainless and not aluminized steel, or you will need to buy a new one in about 3 years. I had a Magnaflow and couldnt stand the noise either after a while, but kept the stock one and put it back on; much happier.

My Walker QuietFlow and tailpipe are on order. Hopefully I will have it at my door by Friday and installed Sat. That is depending if these weather people are right and we are still getting this alleged 20 inches of snow in Chi-city the next three days.

My Jeep never came with a resonator on the tailpipe.

I love my Borla...cut the reso out and have NO drone @ 75+ mph. It is a large muffler, and really opens up under 75% or more throttle, and under normal driving conditions is noticeable but forgettable (if that makes sense haha) Keep us posted when you get it on and good luck with the weather!!

Alright its installed! It is super quiet driving, no drone at all. You still hear the roar from the engine and the deep rumble on acceleration which is perfectly fine with me!
