XenonDepot HID install and question

I installed my xenondepot volt 6000K HIDs. They went in really cleanly and had no issues with the install. I installed the ballasts on the backs of the headlights.

I put the relays on the inner fender and tied up all the wires with existing wires, for a clean almost factory look.

Here is a look at the lights on.

Sorry for all the pictures. When I was looking into buying the HIDs I had a really hard time finding pictures of the 6000K from XenonDepot. So I felt it necessary to post them when I was done.

Overall these are very high quality lights and I had a great experience working with Mike. There were some minor issues with wait times but Mike was quick to inform me of any changes. I will be doing business with him again and would recommend to anyone looking into HIDs.

On to my question. Since the install, my radio reception seems to be worse. Is this caused by the HIDs or is it a coincidence? And also I notice that the right side light is aimed a little below the left. Is this normal or should I re-aim this?

Thanks for the help guys and I hope you enjoyed the pictures.

the volt lamps have an emi filter...so its not the hid's. Could be a ground...did you tighten them down tight.
It is normal for the right side(passenger) to be a little higher. Thats the way they are aimed and made. The drivers side is down to keep out of the eyes of oncoming drivers

Thanks. Ill have to check the grounds again to make sure they are tight.

When you look at the picture, the right side (passenger side) is lower then the driver. I have never been flashed before, so do you think I could safely raise the right side?

Re: XenonDepot HID install and question

honestly....I would lower the drivers side to just even with the passenger

How would I make that adjustment? Is it the adjustment on the top of the headlight?

Do the 6,000k HID's have a slight hint of blue?

There is a very slight hint of blue. For the most part, they are really white. I'm curious now how they will match the switchbacks.
