Remote Start Question?
When you guys remote start your JGC does your front defrost come on? When I remote start below I guess around 40 degrees I get the heat, heated seat, heated steering wheel and the rear defrost....just don't understand why the front doesn't come on!

The other morning it was in the 30's and my front windshield was covered in frost/ice so I remote started and granted the jeep was nice and warm, I had to turn the front defrost on myself and wait for it to do its thing.

The rear defrost was on but it wasn't even needed! Should it be coming on or am I just retarded.

Re: Remote Start Question?
Same here. - rear defroster and driver heated seat comes on, but no front defroster. I try and remember to put it in defroster mode before I get out so when I remote start it the windshield is clean.

Re: Remote Start Question?
Understood. But if it's cold enough to turn on the heated seat and rear defrost, then why not the front defrost too?

Re: Remote Start Question?
When the climate control is set to AUTO, does not some heat come up thru the from defrost vents as the WK2 warms up?

Re: Remote Start Question?
Same thing for me - remote start doesn't defrost the windshield. I started a thread asking the same questions about two months ago. You can find it here.
