What would it take?

What would it take to fit a

285/60/r18

I am looking at a tire and that is the only tire size offered for a 18" rim. Is there any chance in hell it will fit with out spacers? Prolly not but figured it cant hurt to ask.

I am not interested in the tire for its size or anything i just like the tire. Its basically just much wider i guess, if i understand this metric sizing stuff. Obv its taller too.

This is it. I love cooper tires and i really like this one.

That tire is 11.5'' or so wide which means without a spacer or aftermarket wheels, you will be right on the upper ball joint bolt. so that is a no, sorry.

Well,, does that mean i can trim the bolt? or will it rub on other things?

99.9999% chance i wont get them i was just wondering if it was an easy possibility. LOL

It will rub without a doubt, spacer is a must for a tire that wide.
Just lift it!! and you will be fine.. LOL

LOL, no can do.

I guess these tires are out. It just pisses me off because most of the tires i have liked besides the Yokohama spec x, have only been available in redic sizes.
