I got my VIN! Now what?

I'm sure this question has been asked a number of times before. ( I just can't seem to find it)
I got my VIN Number on my Overland order yesterday.(Blackberry, Overland, V8, adaptive cruz and 730n) Does anyone know how long the wait is from this point? The Dealer said he was going to put a rush on it for me. I do trust this dealer, because I produce their TV commercials, but after reading around in all the post in here it doesn't seem possible for them to rush it.
I think the only way to rush it, is by putting in a flux capacitor in my Jeep Commander and driving 88-mph! This is a painful waiting process. Especially since I'm not sure what the next step is after I receive my VIN number.

Any info would be helpful. Thanks:D

+1, become a supporter and request tracking, it's a great way to keep informed but be warned, it can be frustrating when you don't see things changing as fast as you would like.

FYI, the dealer can't "put a rush on it". Sold orders are priority 1 so that bumps them to the top of the list. About the only thing their regional rep can do is override some things that might delay the build like allocation issues. Since you have a VIN that's already been done so now you are in the same waiting pattern as everyone else, regardless their relationship with their dealer.

Enjoy the wait

Now you twiddle your thumbs for a month. Or two. Or more.

Is the "Regional rep", The same thing as "Dealer Operations Manager"?

No, the regional rep is a Chrysler employee who manages the relationship between the dealer and Chrysler. The dealership can blow all the smoke up your ass they want but they have no control over what happens at the factory. All they can do is work with their reps to get things done.

Like I said before, if they have issued a VIN, meaning your order is in D status, then they have done all they can do. From here on it's entirely in Chrysler's hands.
