Tire width
Will 275 45/20 tires protrude from the wheel well on a wk laredo? I will be installing 9 inch srt8 reps all the way around and am told this is the most popular width. It just seems as if these would look funky. I would prefer the tires to be flush with the wheel well. Thanks for the tips...

Re: Tire width
great choice for tire size. they do not protrude.

here are some photos of my 275/45/20 on 9 inch SRTs

Re: Tire width
Nice. That's exactly the info I needed! I am contemplating going with the Hankook Ventus model. I need a good all weather tire that won't break the bank. This latest snowcalypse in Indiana is puttin a hurtin on us....

Re: Tire width
they only protrude tiny bit on the rear 20 x 10 wheels not the 20x 9 fronts wit this tire size. i have them on my staggered

Re: Tire width
Ive seen photos of many members with the staggered setup, they look sick, I would much rather go with 10's in the back

Re: Tire width
see, some people don't like when the wheels stick out but IMO i like the way it gives it a more aggressive look : )

Re: Tire width
Well, due mainly in part to practicality reasons for rotating I am going with the 9" all around for my reps. In the event I actually owned an SRT8 I would most definitely continue with the staggered setup, I do agree that they look and perform better with that engine size than my lowly 3.7. I think I will be running the Hankook Ventus rh model for my tire choice. Any thoughts?

Re: Tire width
Great tire. Had many happy miles from them :)

Re: Tire width
You probably don't have any snow experience with them...however, how do the Hankooks perform in the rain??

Re: Tire width
lol, nah, no snow, but they good on the beach (relatively for a 22" lol) and when less than 50% worn, superb in the rain.
However, I can't promise the compounds we get are identical, subtle differences are common I've read.
Cheers mate.

Re: Tire width
Thanks for the heads up Marlin! I will probably do either 265/275 45-20s. BTW-I hope you aren't getting too much rain over there in Queensland. I spent a month in Rockhampton for a military exercise back in 2007 and rained every day for 3 weeks! I've heard some pretty terrible things lately about the floods over there.

Re: Tire width
Thanks mate. It's been a very tough couple of months for my fellow Queenslanders!
