Headlight bulbs

i was wondering if anyone out there has any idea of what kind of bulbs for low and high beam and fogs will get me close enough to FLASHTECH'S halo's 10,000k. I know i wont get it exact to them unless i get HID but i dont want HID just reg bulbs! Looking for a nice white color
thanks

10k is not white, putting in a halogen blue near that color will give you terrible visability. it would be almost useless in rain.

Why do you not want to get HIDs? Explain?

i dont want HID cause first they are ment to be used with a projector headlight, and i honestly dont want any type of problems with my headlights at night!! thats the last thing you need to go bad on you as your driveing home from a night out!

That argument makes absolutely no sense. The same thing can happen with a halogen bulb.

To be honest, I've had better experience with HID bulbs then halogen bulbs. I usually had halogens burn out on me every year.

Ive had HIDs since then, Ive NEVER had a bulb burn out, or go "out" on me on the highway.

kyle is right about longevity. xenon bulbs will last much longer than halogen and the "brighter" halogen bulbs burn out super quick. silverstars are junk, my brother had them and they lasted around 6 months.

Re: Headlight bulbs

its just that if something goes wrong with stock bulbs its normally just the bulbs.
if you have HID set up and something goes wrong it could be bulb,or that box. then you have to buy that stupid box again.

LOL they are usually under warranty....

just think, silverstars cost 69.99 where I'm from, an HID kit costs roughly 100-200 bucks....

now.....halogen bulbs burn out probably 10x quicker, thats a guess...

I think your better off putting your money on an HID kit that will last. Xenondepot is PROVEN
