Door sill protective film

Several weeks ago a JG member posted about a heavy duty adhesive film that he had used as an unobtrusive door sill protector. I have tried but failed to find that thread. Does anyone remember this and if so can you direct me to that discussion? TIA.

Guys, thanks for the leads but I'm almost sure it wasn't the 3M product. This member had found a different product that came in a roll so that you could trim it to the length you wished. It came in a width that made it perfect for use as a door sill protector. I'm also pretty sure it was black. Again, I'm not looking for the clear bra solution but rather just this door sill protection. I remember reading that post with interest and thinking it might make sense once I got my Overland. Still looking, but thanks again...

^^In that case I'll check out the 3M product, scittb. Thanks for clarifying!

Thanks guys, the Xpel product is the one I was trying to remember. With that info I was able to track it back to a thread started by member Curly. Unfortunately in a subsequent update he gave it a thumbs down because the corners started to peel:

I bought & installed the Xpel on my grand cherokee. I rounded the corners and they seem to be sticking fine. I used isopropyl on the paint prior to install. I was interested in the Mopar stainless steel covers but wanted to see them installed prior to buying. So far, I am very happy with the Xpel.

With Cperez' link to the post which gives this product a 'thumbs down for peeling', I am wondering about this product? How long you have had yours installed? Do you think rounding the corners when applying has helped from peeling up?
Curious minds wanna know.......
