Put in an order for a 4x4 Overland :D

Stone white with saddle
Hemi
730N radio
Off road adventure II

Sticker was $46995. Got it with tread lightly for $43616. $45468 out the door.

Congrats on the order. Just curious where you are in NC? I'm looking to order soon and am leaning towards Autopark in Cary. Also curious what came on top of the out-the-door price. 3% sales tax + the $75 affiliate pricing fee puts it right at 45K. I guess they stuck you with $500 in doc fees? EDIT: forgot about DMV fees, so I guess that's part of that extra $500

Rather than rehash all the stuff I've typed on Doc Fees and the FFP/EP program I'll simply supply the thread links.

This fee sounds borderline, a lot depends on the wording on the contract but my gut tells me this isn't something you should not be paying under the Affiliate Program.

You guys are lucky down there in NC. Sales tax for my Overland here in IL is $2,898 and I actually got my Overland cheaper than you did. Oh well not that I really have a choice in the matter.
Congrats on the purchase!

Tax for me in Chicago is 10 percent. Yeah, that much.

Congrats! Did they provide you with a VON when you ordered? I am still waiting on my dealer to respond with it.

Yes, the VON is on the Priced Order Confirmation (POC) the dealer gave me.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one in that boat! I ordered on 1/31 and have yet to receive a VON from my dealer. I have exchanged a few emails with my dealer. I sensed a bit of frustration toward me regarding my inquiry of the status of my VON. That frustrated me but I replied nicely to avoid dealer consumer frustration. I need to be on good terms with them when my Jeep arrives since I'll be relying on a "good" deal since I'll most likely be coughing up quite a bit of cash for my neg equity trade.
How long does it take to get a VON#?

I thought a VON was generated as soon as the order was entered by the dealer. My dealer handed me my VON on a piece of paper as soon as he entered the order.

Congrats!

I was going to say the same thing but saw some people already mentioned it.. 3% sales tax is crazy, I wish it was that here! :)

With ~3500 sales tax, I am almost right up near your total price and I paid a few thousand less as my selling price. :( O well whatcha going to do! Love the vehicle however

Once it is in the system as an order then the VON is generated....first they do a build (not an actual "order" yet). At my dealership the guy can do a build and print out for you but he isn't the one authorized to do the actual order....that goes to one guy at their other location. I'm sure at some dealerships they let the sales manager or whoever actually enter in an order for the VON right on the spot.
