Forgive my ignorance (I'm not a modder), but what will these do, exactly?

they stiffen up the suspension, like adding sway bars but way cheaper. helps stop body roll, and better cornering.

Mike is it a much harder ride as well? I totally understand how that works on my end, but for a daily driver I don't want to feel every little thump, thats why I have my mustang cobra...lol I read quite a bit that this vehicle still has body roll tendencies and I would love to improve it, its just a matter of do I want a stiffer ride with no roll or more of a day to day softer ride as it is probably stiff to begin with since it is still an SUV.

(also not a modder, so probably a stupid question.) Will these work on the Overland with Quadra-lift? And will they void any warranty?

Thanks.

The sway bar will go up and down with the suspension (if the suspension is going evenly) you won't feel them. It is when you have an unequal condition where these will come into play. Definitely a good upgrade on the street, off road, not sure you would want them (unless high speed racing off road :) )

I don't anticipate these will change the suspension feel going over the road, in the corners, they will allow more force to be transferred to the other side.

But it is best for someone with these to comment on the ride quality, I am just using physics of the suspension to draw my conclusions.

Re: First part for the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee from BWoody Performance

Hmm, these are dubious at best IMHO. The benefit gained by these are from the hard polymer bushings and nothing else. The stock sway bar links have no strength issues (typical tensile and yield strength of 3/8" rod stock is over 100,000 PSI) so there is no need for a beefier component aside from needing to build a carrier to fit the off the shelf energy suspension nylon bushings. A better solution but one that I'm sure doesn't put as much money in your pockets, are replacement bushings for the stock sway bar links. At most this mod should cost $50! $270 is a joke......
