Picked it up this P.M.

Received a call a couple of days ago informing me that my Mineral Gray/Black Overland arrived at the dealership (about 90 miles away). Was planning on driving there tomorrow to pick it up, but was able to get away and arrive just before the dealership closed. Great experience with the dealer (Pearson in Richmond, VA). There is a Jeep dealership about 4 miles from my home, but had such a negative experience when I purchased my 2010 Limited (Hemi) went out of town to purchase. Checked here first though, and the local guys weren't willing to deal at all. Anyhow, I traded in my 2010 Hemi Limited with 13k miles on a Overland six cylinder. Was really worried I would miss the Hemi, but on the 95 mile drive home, was very impressed with the six. Smooth and plenty of power. What a difference in drive feel from the 2010. No regrets with the Overland. 430N Garmin worked great. Love the 20 wheels.

That's the color combo I got on mine. Just love it! There is a lot of talk about the Saddle Interior. Nice but just wasn't "me". Anyway, I really love mine and I'm sure you will feel the same about yours. Enjoy the ride!

WTG, psychrunner. I'm also in the Mineral Gray/Black WK2 club. I never get tired of that color combo. Also, it's nice to have a bit of an extended first drive home, isn't it? Gives you a chance to enjoy the experience and streeeeetch it out. Have fun in your new Jeep.

Thanks all. I drove my 1989 e34 BMW (535i-manual tranny) to my office today, and went out for a short drive with my wife in the Overland this P.M. Really do love this Jeep. The feel is really incredibly different than the 2010. So far, very happy with the V6, but I don't plan to tow, and we really have no hills here in coastal VA.

Congratulations! I know you're going to enjoy it very much. It's truly a well engineered and remarkable vehicle. I lived in Richmond and know Pearson well. They are a great dealership. Here's to many happy moments in your new ride!
Cheers.
