It may look "awesome" but it's pure RICE! Why would someone intentionally reduce the amount of light coming from your headlights???????

Next we'll hear that someone is snipping a few wires to make their Hemi stay in MDS full-time.

Oh, then that's different.

I just see a lot of ricers running around here with blacked out lenses on all their lights and since we don't have a state inspection nothing protects people from their own stupidity.

Sorry for the confusion guys. I'm talking about opening the headlamp assembly and painting the bezels. In my opinion, it should have COME this way. Curently, the transition between the headlights and the grille looks bad to me...too much chrome.

It looks a lot better blacked out. That's why MOPAR did it for the SEMA trucks. ;)

Thx for clarifying, pbalias. I thought the plan was to paint the REFLECTIVE part of the inner lamp assembly black. I couldn't figure out who would think that was a good idea. I never thought that the suggestion was to paint the actual headlamp lenses black. WTF, that would be beyond ignorant and would make the idea above seem brilliant by comparison.

I personally like how the front end looks on the stock Overland but look fwd to some shots of your mod.
