This is awesome. I wonder how it is going to affect the ride....I really love how the WKII rides.

Very excited... I've been talking with Glenn at RR Outfitters for weeks now waiting for this. Just in time too; Uncle Sam is sending me a nice present.

In-case you can't get on Face-book, here a few pics... The third pic is of the OEM 35" rear strut...

Also, RRO claims 32" tires will fit nicely. Minor fender trimming would yield a 33" tire. I am fine with some 32's personally :)

I'd also like to see some closer images of the Rock Slider; the Safari Rack is also available. RRO says the items should be available by months end, no price yet.

Everyone,

Glenn at RRO just sent me the official page (which has yet to be linked to the rest of the website) for the new Wk2 2.5" Lift.

Glenn also indicated that for any 2.5" Wk2 Lift order placed before 31 March he will take 10% off. You will just need to e-mail him so he can manually adjust the price. I will be ordering mine as soon as Uncle Sam sends me my money.

Anyway, here is the link; http://www.rocky-road.com/wk2-lift-kit.html

Re: New WK2 lift

Not compatible.

There will not be "lifts" for the QL. Perhaps in the future there will be software patches to change.

It took a few years for the aftermarket to develop airbag lift swaps for the Range Rovers, but with the RR the only option was an airbag lift. Not the case with the Wk2's so I doubt QL owners will ever a swap kit.

Just another reason I opted for the Limited :)

Re: New WK2 lift

In the LR4 world there are longer ride height sensor links to 'trick' the air suspension into running higher than normal. If we do nto get a software fix, something like that might be the answer.

If I do it myself it will be up at my parents house in North Baltimore County, just below the PA line. They have a nice 2-1/2 car garage.

As I stated in another thread, I may have Adams Jeep do it if they will agree that the lift won't void my warranty if installed by them (same offer they give with newly ordered JKs).

When I did my ZJ it was no longer under factory warranty.
