For those who have the new Saddle Interior

I was cleaning my leather seats on my 2004 WJ Limited and suddenly had the thought- how will I clean the new saddle leather? I do not believe it is "sealed" like conventional leather. I always have used Leatherique and it works wonders, even on the cream colored seats (very close to light frost beige) on my Mercedes. But if the leather is "open" it will be a whole other story.
Are there recommendations on how to clean it with the manual, has anyone tried to clean it?
Thanks

Its the same as leather in any car, just a different color.

I think the point may be the little holes for the vented seats. What happens if cleaners get down in there?

The leather cleaner should also be a conditioner (to keep it soft). The cleaner/conditioner is absorbed by the leather just as it is without the ventilation holes. Just make sure that you are spraying the cleaner on you cloth and then wiping the seat. You should never spray the seat and then wipe with the cloth.

Nothing at all in my manual or user guide that I could find.

2011RitterGC brings up a good point though about the ventilation pores on the seat.....I too don't want any debris or cleaning/conditioning agents to clog them.
