WK 3.7 Shudder

Hi Everyone,
First post long time lurker. I have a 2007 WK 3.7 and I get the NAG1 shudder now from 42-55 mph any thoughts on how to get the Dealer work on it. Brought it back once before.... bought it used with 44k on it. They said they all do it and some worse then others Tech stated Harmonics. (Crap I say) So I've lived with it as long as I can and it's been getting worse so much so that my wife can notice. She has a 06 XK and has so little of the shudder 45-50 you wouldn't know if unless you knew to look for it. If mine did what hers did I would be fine with it. It's so bad I try to either drive faster or slower!! Any tips on getting the dealer to look into it further would be helpful. They've been helpful on the XK with issues....I guess I may just have to get mad. Thanks for any input and this is a great site sooo helpful.

tranny flush and throttle body cleaning took care of it on our '06 3.7. it had about 35k on it when we got that done, 10k later and it hasn't returned.

it was stated that our throttle body's never should be sprayed with anything. just clean it with a rag if you are going to do it yourself.

Also, Chrylser has stated that the fluids should never be flushed. Only drain and refill with filter change. You can cause damage by flushing.

the dealer did both the tranny flush and the throttle body cleaning. Just FYI. My verbiage might be off, they called it a "transmission service" but at the end of the day the service performed on the transmission was equivalent to a flush and they cleaned the throttle body themselves.

They drained it. They didn't flush it. Their TSB tells them not to flush it unless something is wrong with the transmission.

You might be feeling the torque converter clutch. For whatever reason, that trans uses different degrees of lockup. It can be partially locked,or fully locked. When its in partial lockup, the converter clutch actually slips.Sometimes it can be pretty bad.Changing the fluid might help.I have actually replaced a couple converters for this but they were worse than a little shudder.
The worst ones were the 2005s with the bad dipstick tube seal.Water from the ac drain would drip into it and destroy the torque converter.

Ok so they're telling me Jeep will have a fix for it in a month or 2... it's just that it shifts too soon into overdrive and taxes the drivetrain. I said really then way does it do it in 4th silence.... Going to look at it again tomorrow.
