2008 Wrangler JK Death Wobble
I have experienced the death wobble in my wrangler 11 times in last 3 months. I have had it to the jeep repair shop 3 times. It is still under warranty, but Jeep is not fixing the problem the causes the death wobble. They want me to buy a aftermarket steering shock with they have already replaced. I do not feel that I should have to pay for this. Anyone had any luck with this??? Getting frustrated. This is my first Jeep and am sick of dealing with it. Thanks!!
Re: 2008 Wrangler JK Death Wobble
is this stock? lifted? aftermarket wheels and tires?
I havent heard of it being a serious issue without some or all of the above being done... in which case its not warranty, and NO parts should have been installed for free. The factory did a pretty good job keeping the dreaded death wobble at bay, its when wheel offsets are changed and suspension geometry is changed that it gets to be an issue.
