Smoked Tails

Recently I smoked my tails using lamin-x gunsmoke film. I ordered the precut film and I am very happy with the results. I applied the film directly to the OEM tail lights.

For the installation-

-Make sure the car is exposed to mild to warm weather, not cold.
-Clean the tail lights.
-Lightly spray water onto the the light itself.
-Unpeel film and apply. Do your best to align it as close as you can.
-Now soak the outside of the film
-Using a hair dryer and the included squeegee, heat and apply. Do your best to squeegee out all of the water underneath the film.

Now a few days after, I had quite a lot of bubbles on the film. But be patient they eventually go away!! Mine are flawless now! It helps to use a hairdryer, safety pin, and the squeegee to heat a bubble, poke it, and squeegee out the water.

10off will get you 10% off.

Then later I put on the yellow smoke film for my fogs with the same application process, except I made a template with a piece of paper. Then I cut it out from the bulk yellow sheet, and stuck er on.

Feel free to ask me questions.

Do you have 3000K fog hids as well? I love the look.

Thank you! But no, just halogen bulbs with the yellow tint. I'm surprised at how nice they came out. Certainly an easy mod that goes a long way.

Ive heard several stories of the lamin-x heating up over time causing burn marks, etc etc.

Keep me posted on how it goes. I kind of want to add this.

I have my yellow tint in my magazine sleeve behind the seat :worried:
Do you mind taking an up close shot with the lights off (of the yellow tint)? Thanks.

If their are water bubbles dont poke them they go away even if it takes a few days. this is for any tint lights or windows.
