Ported 5.7l Throttle Body on a 5.7
So, I've been through all the threads regarding a ported TB on a 5.7l engine but haven't heard any details of the performance gains. If anyone out there running one on a 5.7l would like to chime in with results that would be AWESOME.
-Currently I'm running a Mopar Intake/stock exhaust dia. w/ flowmaster 50 series muffler & reso.
-I know I would get max benefit by a larger than 2.75" exhaust but that will come later.

Re: Ported 5.7l Throttle Body on a 5.7
I doubt that you'll notice much, if any, difference since the stock throttle body flows more air than a stock 5.7 is capable of ingesting. You'll probably also notice a loss of power if you go to a 2.75 in. exhaust system. It's too large for a stock 5.7 and won't scavenge properly. Over in the LX community we tried it years ago and ended up putting a small restriction (smaller piece of pipe) in the system to get the power back.
