Puzzeled over coil and axle angle.

A bit surprised by the rear coil, and also the axle spring mount and bumpstop plate angle. Anyone else have a WK that looks like this?
This is at stock hieght with a load and axle sitting level as well.

That's at full droop. As it compresses it becomes more vertical and into alignment.
The diff housing is simply traveling through an arc prescribed by the trailing arm.

Not at full droop but normal ride height there. The axle is fully supported on a axle stand and is carrying full weight of the body.
Would anyone be kind enough to throw an angle gauge on the diff cover, or the flat spot next to it on the back of the axle, so I can compare? Mine is at 7 degrees.

are both your springs like this? I agree with the other guys, this does not look normal to me.

this is from the wrecked wh you have right?

Looks a bit off to me, too. If the other spring looks better, and if the wheel seems otherwise to be in good alignment, I would check the upper and lower rubber spring seats to see if there is any bulging on the sides. Also inspect the spring closely for a possible crack where it's sitting on the rubber seat. If there's a crack, then only part of the seat will be supporting the spring and it will definitely go crooked. Prolly a long shot, but I did have this happen to me once.

Re: Puzzeled over coil and axle angle.

Is that just a shadow or is the jounce bumper hitting the stop off center?

Appears to be a shadow?

And yes, if that's at ride height, not droop, it defs doesn't look right.

Is this a wreck? Is there any bent or broken arms securing the diff to the body?

I know its a front end total...he posted some pics awhile back. Those are def. damaged

Not a shadow but the bumpstop is hitting off centre as well. This is from my wreak that I am pulling apart but the damage is only right at the front on this side and the nearest on the other side is the front door where the Harley hit it?

Have not got the other side wheel off yet to have a look to see the other coil but suspect will be the same. Checked out the arms carefully and no sign of damage to them or the mounts that I can find?
