There is almost no difference. Here's a comparison with 31"s (first pic), and then 32"s. (second pic)

Honestly, I'm not a fan of the BFG M/T's. They are loud, at low speeds my dashboard vibrates from them, and they wear fast on the street. I miss my old General Grabber AT2's.

While it looks sick I agree about the M/Ts. I haven't owned any but I know people that have and I have riden in a truck with M/Ts. I like my BFG ATs alot but I was thinking about the General Grabbers or the Nitto Terra Grapplers for the price difference when it's time to get new tread.

I love the Muddies, have had several sets on multiple vehicles and I love the look, love the traction, and if you rotate often and keep the pressures right, they last real well and don't get too noisy.

the guys saying the BFG MT's are too loud and rough are comparing them to AT's. That's an unfair comparison. The BFG Mud Terrain's are probably the best mud tire out there. Try comparing them to another mud terrain, like the Goodyear MTR's. The bfg will last forever if rotated regularly and kept at the proper pressure. They're also one of the most quiet MT's on the market. They're an incredible mud tire. Go read their reviews on any tire shop.

For comparison... I've had two sets of Goodyear wrangler Mtr's on my XJ. one set were 31's, and the other 33's. They were both incredibly loud and rough riding. A good buddy of mine has a set of 35'' BFG mud terrains on his TJ. With his top down, there's still less road noise than the MTR's on my Cherokee.
