Gear shifter - should it be burled Olive?
 
Has anyone else noticed that some pics show the Overland with a leather wrapped shifter and others with a burled olive one? I remember test driving one with the olive knob. My GC came in 2 days ago with a leather wrapped one. Was this a production error or change? Also, my steering wheel is definitely a darker hue - more cherry in appearance than the rest of the trim. What's up?

My understanding was the wood shifter got the axe a long time ago.

Yeah that was a preproduction thing. As for the wheel being a different color...its wood.

Possibly, though unsure of fitment on the wk2's thus far. Here's a few maybes, other aftermarkets could work too:
