Are all Gen III Projectors essentially the same performance wise?

I would like to buy a pair soon but I'm not sure on which specific vendor or company to buy from. Any suggestions on a specific vendor? What's the average price I should expect to pay?

I've seen anywhere from this model for like $125

To this model for $275

Yeah, I already saw your thread man, looks good. I was just curious if there was a quality difference between all the price differences you see on Ebay from all of these vendors.

Dis what i have here.

Projector headlights http://stores.ebay.com/X3Racing?_trksid=p4340.l2563

$98.99 + 44 shipping (DOES NOT INCLUDE HID KIT OR BULBS)

Would buy again if I needed to purchase a set without any question.

Here is a pic of the back of the headlights after i wired all the LED and HALO's together (since i was going to connect both to the parking light so they are all on at the same time).

1) That's not bad for $100, Are they pretty good quality so far? Though I'm not sure if a black or chrome model would go best. (I'm thinking Chrome though)

2) Thanks for the Photobucket link, I liked a lot of those pics, When you did an LED interior, what bulb did you keep intact so you didn't need a resistor or did you have to? (I forgot lol)

3) Are the Gen III projectors with the CCFL's actually 4x brighter than the Halo's?

4) Also what kind of fogs do you use Grant? Do you have an HID kit in them and if so what temperature?

This is the color of my Jeep:

Re: Are all Gen III Projectors essentially the same performance wise?

I went ahead and going to get me some projector/halo fogs. So now they will match the halo's hopefully. I have an HID kit and some 3k bulbs (yellow) and some 6k to match the white in the lows. Not sure which i will use, probably the 6k cause I like to keep my shit looking good (read - matching).

Yeah those pretty cool, How's the 3000k? is it very yellow? Have you tried any Lamin-X over it in combination with the 3000k?

Re: Are all Gen III Projectors essentially the same performance wise?

Not sure yet, but as always I will be sure to post pics with both the 3k and 6k fogs.

Problem I am faced with is my gf of 4 years is being indecisive about wanting to be in a long term committed relationship anymore so I asked her to figure it out while living somewhere else. So this all occurred this past Thursday and tomorrow we are supposed to be working on moving all her stuff out (rather than installing fog lights, much to my dismay). But then she tells me she doesn't want to move out and loves me, etc... We banged last night and have still be sleeping together??? She is pulling ninja mind f*ck tricks on me at the moment so I am working on my personal stuff and have the jeep stuff on hold while I get this situation worked out - one way shape or form. But she is a good catch in alot of ways so maybe we can work it out... well see. :)

Picture of us together.

But, I decided if I get her out of my house by the end of next week I will buy SRT rims same weekend (not sure of chrome or black yet) to help mend the newly created hole in my heart.

Well damn man that sucks, I do wish you the best luck in getting everything worked out. On a side note, Were the 3000k's very yellow?

Re: Are all Gen III Projectors essentially the same performance wise?

I will install them this week, if I am lucky. They are currently still in the box with the projector fogs still.

But usually when I get home it is already dark :(

I will take some pics of both and let you take a peek!!!
