Where are you planning on mounting the turbo Scott?

Down back or up front?

Thanks for plethora of information.

Beside the gearbox?
Rear of engine bay on manifolds?
Front of engine bay on manifolds?
One or two turbos?
How much boost?
What size turbos?
What kind of output are you hoping for?

Re: turbocharged guys...step in please! Question about intercoolers

We are mounting my intercooler in the front of the truck in the lower bumper part. It'll be nice and visable for all to stare at.:) We use Garrett cores and build the end tanks ourselves. I can get you the size core we use tomorrow. It is pretty much an exact fit. It's good for 1200hp. I believe.

If you're running a rear mount turbo system, an IC isn't really needed. Chris B's twin turbo monster isn't even running an IC. Pretty crazy if you ask me.

Re: turbocharged guys...step in please! Question about intercoolers

to start with...my engine is built for 20+ psi and built with a turbo in mind. I have two 9b's from a 99 3000GT VR4 and both sidemount intercoolers....but I was thinking a center mount behind the bumper. What I have over the SRt's is engine bay space.

Sorry Marlin.....I dont know yet either. Just in the first stages of planning. may not even do it....
