My Jeep thus far..

I figured I'd post some pictures of the current status of my Jeep. So here it goes:

OME MD with 265/70s

Weathertech Mats (love these!)

http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5098/...9b1737aa_z.jpg

Overall I am very pleased with the look and ride of my Jeep. DEFINITELY worth the extra cost for the OME. So glad I went that way instead of the budget boost. Very slight rub only at full lock with the 265/70s. I am running 1/4" Baer billet wheel spacers up front to clear the calipers. I am very pleased with the Treadwright tires. Very hard to tell the difference from the real thing. My only complaint I guess would have to be the weight and the extra weight it took to balance them (let's just say it took a lot).

The AFE intake is nice and really make the Hemi roar. As I have stated many times before, the Weathertech mats are one of my best purchases. I love their look, feel, fit and finish, and durability. The Kicker audio is definitely a step up from the Boston Acoustics but I am not entirely thrilled with them. I still need to upgrade the amp to the Kicker unit and I will wait until then to decide if it was a total worthwhile purchase. The switches will be used for lighting that will be on the Rola rack both front and rear as well as maybe come lighting below the bumper, still not sure.

Future plans include some simple visual upgrades like SRT pedals, removing dumb painted pin striping, and a full on detail. I also have 4xGuards 12 bolt diff guard on order, just waiting for them to send that out hopefully soon. I am trying to decide on what lighting I want to go with for the Jeep. I am looking at the Baja Designs Soltek Fuegos, Rigid Industries LED light bars, the trusty Hella 4000 compacts, or possibly Lightforce. Just not sure where and how I want to apply my money.

Anyway, that's all for now. Feel free to ask any questions. I know I had plenty going into all of this.

Thanks! The switches are Contura rocker switches that can be found at a number of places. I got these from a place in England. the reason I went with them is because they were the only company that had the activation light color combination that I wanted. Plus they also had some sweet decals for the switches that you see. It turned out to be the same price if I were to get them from the states even with shipping.

I guess you stole my spotlight. Lol. You still don't have my shiny paint.

Nice WK. I'm getting a Rola soon. I'm going to spray it with Rhino Liner.

As for balancing the larger tires, my mechanic did it the right way by braking the tire from the rim and rotating repeatedly to eliminate the need for extra large weights. Most mechanics are too lazy to do this but mine wasn't. And the fact that I hooked him up with some free software helped a little too. I take care of anybody who take care of me.

Nice projectors.

Very nice clean look. These Jeeps look as good lifted as they do lowered!

Haha never meant to steal spotlight. I really like your blue and would have loved to find an overland with a steel blue but I never came across one.

I actually went back and had the tires rebalanced due to some caliper clearance issues and they ride much better. The Treadwrights are not going to be perfect and I am okay with that but they ride how they should now.

I also am looking to spray my Rola rack. I already stopped over at Line-x and had them quote me a price, I just need to get it welded up first. It's just up there for test fitting for now, and to try some lights out.

Seems that we have some similar tastes. I like to go for the a very simple and clean look that looks like how it may have been done from the factory.

I was joking about the spotlight. Clean and simple is the best. How much was the Line-X quote?

I got $175 but that is with them prepping and using a new UV blocking version of their stuff. I have used line-x in the past and have had nothing but great results from it. I last used it on my Jeep JKs grille. I color matched it to the paint (silver of course) and it looked incredible.

That's nice. Hell yeah.

I don't know if I want to spray it black or silver to match the wheels. What do you all think?

Wow. That is sexy! Notice more than sound upgrade from the AFE?
