Start/Stop Button Illumination

Does anyone's Start/Stop button illuminate? Mine does not. Anyone else have something different?

I am not sure but you might want to try adjusting your dash dimmer do-jigger.. just a thought.

Kinda sucks that it doesn't...oh well. I think people are smart enough to know where the button is and know if the car has started or not....lol. But then again, the world is full of some dumb people.

Thanks, I just saw it illuminated in the brochure and the Chrysler 300's button is illuminated so I thought I would check.

Thanks for the responses!

It pulls out in case you have the desire or need to plug the key in and twist (as described in the manual), so getting it to light up was likely too much trouble. I'm not sure why they felt the need to have that button be removable.

It's the cheapest part of this new Jeep. The brochures do show an illuminated Start/Stop button but it didn't make it to production. My other car's start button is lit and feels much better.

I'd say the cheapest part of the jeep is the manual fan speed control for the climate controls. Feels like its ready to let go at a moments notice.

Getting it to light up should not be too much trouble. Just illuminate the cavity behind the button and make the lettering translucent.

I would make it pulse like a heart, in red.
