A up lifting transformation

I finally got around to installing the 3.5" RK lift and 265/70/17 Duratrac on Moabs and 1.25" Spidertrax spacers, I bought from Totty. Very easy kit to install and was able to complete it in just under 5 hours.

Here are a few pictures.

Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do. I'm getting a 4xguard skid plate and brush guard this summer.

Best decision I have made so far... if you are thinking about it, think no more. Do it!!! What are you unsure of?

How it will affect air flow and the ride because I drive highways 3+ days a week.

Just don't know much about it lol

Im gonna have to do my research soon.

I just installed my 2.25" RRO lift and my 1.5" Spidertrax are on the way, but now I need tires. Do your 245/70s rub at all? I'm thinking of going w/ 265/70

Chance- I drive about 60 miles a day and the only effect I've seen so far is my gas mileage dropped about .4 miles to the gallon. But when your gas mileage is so bad already, will you really notice the lose of 10 miles per tank? Lol

Trojan- my 265's rub pretty good right now. I plan on trying to fix the fender when the weather gets warmer. I'm keeping my jeep lifted so it will be worth the mod for future upgrades.

Looks schweet Jon! I love the wheels!
Being in the city, I can't have nearly the fun on off-roads as you

I was actually in the city on Saturday after I installed it. Handled the city great. Bigger is better in Boston. And as for off-roading, its prolly a lot closer then you think. These offroad pictures were takin in Plymouth. Something to think about with the potholes in Boston.

Re: A up lifting transformation

lol. Yes, potholes = crappy ride everywhere in the city. Hence, I keep the stock rims and tires on all winter.

Ever see this map?

Sorry for the slight hijack... The lifted look is very nice.
