2500k HID Bulb?

Any company make a 2500k HID bulb? Frankly the 3000k bulbs doesnt do it for me. Yes it show yellow on the ground but when you look at it, it looks more white with a hint of yellow. I'm looking for a deep(hyper?) yellow. My buddy had it in his TSX but he couldnt remember the brand or even if its an HID bulb. At day it was as yellow as it gets.

Im waiting on the yellow lamin-x film over a 3k bulb to see if i can achieve that look. (probably wont lol, we'll see once it gets here)

the factory yellow lights are halogen and they are REALLY yellow

I have the yellow lamin-x over halogen's, and as long as my car is clean the output is fine. But if you do end up using hid's and the film watch out for the film getting burned.

halogens are more prone to burning the film that an HID would....

Kyle is correct on this one.

no going back to stock bulbs lol, would like to keep/use the kit. Iive done a quick research on how the film will be affected by the HID bulb and it should be able to hold up. From the pictures i've seen it doesnt make too big of a difference in color.
Christos- i guess that's one way to describe it lolool. No luck searching other forums about HID bulb but some have recommended the PIAA Plasma Ion yellow light bulbs.

got your text Christos! ill hit you up if i decide to.

Update: got my precut film from lamin for the fogs and was a bit disappointed with the fitment. There was no way that was going to cover the whole fog even with heating it and stretching it(thanks Ryan :) for the tip). So best to buy the sheet or roll. I was quite impressed how it came out with the 3000k bulb. It definitely looks like the yellow i was going for. The camera didnt quite capture the difference but you can tell in person.

Freshhhh! - I really like how everything looks.

I just ran all the wires for my fogs tonight, just to test out the HID kits. Everything worked out fine, although I have 4 power wires running off my battery terminal - might relocate everything with a seperate insulated postive terminal down behind the front bumper - but for now it is what it is :)

Sorry for the little rant, your thread got me thinking about my fogs hah :p
