Color Matched Door Moldings

I sent off my laredo door moldings to be painted today. Scott (UR50SLO) from Scotts Paint and Performance will be doing the work. I am excited to see how these will look!!!!

I will post pics when I get them back from Scott.

I was going to try and come but I think I tried to do to much thismorning and I'm not feeling so good this afternoon. This recovery process has been a bitch so I prolly won't make it. I will definitely be at some of the meets this summer tho

So these should be here today. Question for the guys who have removed the thick door moldings... What do I need to do to take these off? I looked at them and I think there is double sided tape on them. Did you have any troubles with this tape, need goo gone or hair dryer??

goo gone should work wonders

heat the tape up with a hairdryer and goo gone for the residue

Thanks guys. I just went at it with the same process as debadging. After about 30 seconds I realized I didn't need to do anything special. The tape was there but it came off very easily. We didnt smooth them out but I am really happy with how they look still. Love it!

I really think this is the best visual mod I have done so far. I love how different it makes the whole truck look. Let me know what you think!

I should be putting the 22s back on in a couple of weeks once the weather gets a little better.
