Finally got it!

After checking this forum daily for the last six months I finally got my hands on a Mineral Grey Overland. I kept flip flopping between the 430n and the RHR, but I ultimately decided to go with the 430n. I have used Garmin devices in the past and really like the interface. However, when I went to order my Overland last week, I was told the 430n was on restriction. I checked with Milous and was informed this restriction could last days, weeks, or even months. I started checking local dealer inventory and found a Mineral Grey Overland with all the features I wanted so I took it and I couldn't be happier.

Interior - Spectacular. The materials are of the highest quality. Love the real wood, leather dash, and piping on the seats.

430n - Bluetooth streaming with my iPhone does not work. Songs speed up. I knew this before purchasing and it really doesn't concern me. I loaded all my songs from iTunes onto the HDD. This process was very easy. I transferred the music to a flash drive and plugged it into the Nav. It took 15 minutes. The only drawback is no voice control of songs on the HDD. Also, I get an error message when I plug my old iPhone 3G into the usb port within the center armrest. I am hoping that the upcoming update will fix these issues, but if it doesn't I am still happy with my selection. Bluetooth calling has functioned perfectly. The Navigation has been terrific.

Exterior - Mineral Grey was my second choice (Dark Charcoal was first). However, I now prefer the Mineral Grey. I think it works great with the Light Frost interior. The exterior styling turns heads.

Tech Package - I have not used the ACC yet. The Blind Spot monitoring is wonderful. It makes changing lanes a breeze. My only fear is that I will stop checking my blind spot and will rely solely on this feature!

Issues - I have had a few minor issues. The Home Link will not work. I'm not sure if the problem is with the Home Link or my garage opener (Wayne Dalton Prodrive). The passenger door doesn't close completely unless you really put some pressure behind it. All other doors are fine. I will have my dealer check these out when they install my chrome fog light bezels.

This forum has been a great resource. Thanks to everyone for all the informative posts.

The Genie solution:
1. Start the vehicle or make sure ignition is in Run position.

2. Erase all old codes by holding button 1 and 3 together 20-30sec until you get the flashing confirmation. Same as what your documentation states.

3. Hold your handheld garage door opener remote directly in front of the Homelink. The distance should be a couple inches. (You cannot use the "learn" button on the opener itself just yet).

4. Hold down the button for your garage remote while simultaneously pressing the Homelink button you want and keep holding both until you get the fast confirmation flash (~30secs +/-). This teaches the Homelink button the frequency range for the rolling codes. You HAVE TO USE YOUR GARAGE REMOTE for steps 3&4! Now you are ready to program the Homelink with the "learn" button on the opener unit in the garage.

5. Press the "learn" button on the opener unit inside your garage. You have ~30secs to get back into your Jeep and press and hold the corresponding button you pressed in the previous step. Your garage door should now begin to close after the button is programmed. Step 5 is the same instruction you have in your documentation.

I am doing this from my tired memory, but it's what I recall I had to do with my Genie unit to get it to work. This didn't need to be done on my other cars so I don't know what Homelink changed (it's NOT Jeep's fault).
Please let me know if this does or does not work. The trick is getting the Homelink button to first learn the frequency range for the Genie rolling codes.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem. Home Link worked fine on my previous vehicle. Maybe it is a Jeep issue.

The QL came in handy on day two. I wish I had some cool off roading story but this will have to do. I was waiting in line at the drive thru ATM. The ATM was low to the ground and the SUV in front of me was having trouble reaching some of the buttons. I put the Jeep into Park Mode and had no problems. The guy waiting behind me was astonished. Totally agree with your choice of Mineral Gray if you have the Frost interior. I like Dark Charcoal, but not with Frost Beige.

When you transferred your music, did you just copy the .m4a tunes from underneath iTunes?

Yes, I copied the iTunes folder directly to the flash drive. I had about 100 songs that were DRM protected. I used iTunes Plus to remove the DRM restriction.

Haven't tried the Adaptive Cruise yet. I will post when I do.
