Is that like a big umbrella that my caddy has when I play golf?

The only ones that I know of are the stick on type
Auto Ventshade 94252

I have not pruchased these yet as I called WeatherTech and they say they will have them out for the 2011 later this year. WeatherTech makes the In trough one that I have had on every vehicle and have had no issues with. I just hate putting sticky tape on my vehicles so I like the in-trough ones. A personal choice.

I bought them put them on....and then ripped them off. They cover up the chrome window trim and make it look cut off. I hated the look. I gave them away to another forum member. Dont know if he ever put them on though.

My vehicle has air conditioning. Windows are either closed all the way or open all the way.

Re: Rain Guards

I had the vent shades on my '02 Tahoe, but was dissappointed with the wind noise. Because of this I have hesitated buying vent shades for the GC. The other night it rained here in Houston and the next morning I went to open the drivers door and the water drained off of the roof directly onto the driver seat controls. I wonder how long it will take before these switches short out due to water leaking on them???

You need to be looking at the Weathertech in-channel vent visors. They fit in the window channel (no tape required) and they won't cover up the chrome trim. They work well, and are probably more resistant to wind noise as well.

Can anybody post a picture of the outcome? I want to put the vent shades in, but wonder how they would look!

Go to the "in channel vent visor" thread in this forum. There are pics.
