Blaze red vs inferno red

My build info finally hit D1 today but the status page says the color is "blaze red" no inferno red... I didn't ask for that.... does anyone have that color?

Not that it means much, but the official website still calls it "inferno" -- see http://www.jeep.com/hostc/bmo/colors.do

Well it looks like you will be in good company...

...that car looks sick!

just kidding, you may want to inform your dealer and see if they can get to the bottom of it for you (I doubt it though). Either way I doubt they will put the wrong paint on. Still strange though. Let us know if you find out anything

Well, my rubicon is flame red and I found a comparison with the colors on a dodge site.
The first one is flame and the second is blaze... it looks like a cherry color... similar to inferno

You could have gotten a Durango-specific paint job..

edit: I did a quick search and I couldn't find a blaze red option for the new Durango..

What's funny is incredibly confusing is that the "Blaze" on the Neon looks VERY similar to the color of the WK2 (which is supposed to be inferno) in your sig. I know its just exposure but man I cant believe how much better it looks on the Jeep!

Those status pages are populated with content derived from the paint code. It's highly likely the table used to look up the paint code was changed incorrectly and the result is the text you see. From everything available, Blaze Red is not a WK2 color so until you actually see the paint code on the build sheet I wouldn't sweat it.
