2007 WK Question
I have a 2007 Grand Cherokee with a 2 inch Rough Country lift on it. Rough Country states that you can run a 265 tire, which is a lie!!!! The bolt on the upper control arm of the front suspension prevents that. Is there anyone out there that has had the same problem and figured a way around it? I want to run my stock 17 inch wheel and just upgrade to larger tires. People have said that spacers are a bad idea, but I have no clue. I need some help here. Thanks.
Re: 2007 WK Question
You can run the 265's if you use spacers or different offest wheels. Lift or not, the UPCA bolt is still in the same location so the wheels would need to come away from it to fit. All kinds of opinions on spacers, pro and no. I ran spacers on my Silverado Ext Cab lifted and towed quads/dirtbikes and never had an issue...but some have. Just have to loctite and periodically check the lugs.
